 Contracts
Voxtec International,Inc. awarded five year $45 million IDIQ contract by Naval Air Systems Command
2 years 5 months ago

Voxtec began the process to secure an IDIQ Contract to streamline the approval and acquisition process for the U.S. Navy and other U.S. Government Agencies seeking its products, research, and services. Today's announcement is a win/win for both Voxtec and the Navy.

“The Voxtec product has tremendous operational potential, in many different areas and for many different government organizations,” states Mr. Charles Caposell, the Technical Point of Contact for the Naval Air Systems Command. In addition, he states, “This product has application for the private sector as well in such areas as indigenous language revitalization and proficiency.”

Although many companies have conducted promising research in human speech translation, their product development efforts have struggled to materialize. Voxtec has distinguished itself as the market leader through its innovative research, development and thought leadership, combined with world-class product development execution. Voxtec has successfully fielded more than 5,000 speech-to-speech translation devices being used today to meet the needs of U.S. Military and Coalition forces. Concurrently, Voxtec is engaged in a vigorous research program in order to improve the capability of its existing products and to produce the next generation of Voice Machine Translation systems.

About Voxtec International:

Voxtec specializes in efficient, tactical machine-based translation solutions. Voxtec produces speech-to-speech translation device products, both handheld and wearable. Voxtec's products are already in use worldwide by U.S. Military, Coalition Forces, and First Responders. As a pioneer in the field, Voxtec is steadfast in its practical approach, while engaging in intensive research and development to discover and bring to market customer solutions. Voxtec creates world-class products through its commitment to advancing voice technologies.
