Sypris Data Systems, Inc., a subsidiary of Sypris Solutions, Inc., announced today that it has received a contract to supply over 400 High Frequency (HF) receivers to Taiwan. The Digital Signal Processing (DSP) based software-defined receivers will be used for signal collection and monitoring purposes. Previously an established supplier of signal recording and storage devices, the contract award denotes the Companys entrance into the Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) receiver market for HF, VHF/UHF and microwave requirements for fixed site,mobile, airborne and shipboard applications.
