L-3 Electronic Systems Recognized for Innovation in Vetronics Industry
1 year 8 months ago

L-3 Electronic Systems (L-3 ES), a leader in the field of vehicle electronics and suspension systems design and manufacture, is the recipient of Frost & Sullivan's 2008 North American Award for Vetronics Industry Innovation & Advancement. L-3 ES is recognized for its work with Electronically Controlled Active Suspension System (ECASS), a mobility enhancement solution that supports combat vehicle mobility, agility, and warfighter survivability on the battlefield.

ECASS is a fully active computer-controlled suspension system for Military wheeled and tracked vehicles that monitors and controls the motion of the vehicle through its suspension, minimizing the forces experienced by the vehicle, occupants and payload during extreme evasive maneuvers.

L-3 ES was acknowledged for its overall technical excellence, its commitment towards innovation and its contribution to the marketplace through ECASS.

"Frost & Sullivan applauds L-3 ES' commitment to deliver military vehicle suspension solutions to U.S. and International fighting vehicle programs," said Garrick Ngai, research analyst, Frost & Sullivan. "The Industry Innovation & Advancement Award is bestowed to the company that has most altered the industry due to its creativeness and innovation."
