Esterline AVISTA Promotes Iverson to Vice President of Engineering

Esterline AVISTA, the U.S. leader in critical systems software engineering services, has named Mitch Iverson as the new vice president of engineering. With more than 20 years of experience in safety-critical software development, as vice president of engineering, Iverson will ensure continued technical excellence and client engagement success for the world's leading aerospace, medical device and defense organizations.

Iverson is a recognized industry speaker and expert on project management and software development. Previously, as an Esterline AVISTA programs manager, he led outsourced software development and systems engineering projects under various certification guidelines, including DO-178B and DO-254. Iverson holds a Bachelor's in Computer Science and a Master's in Project Management. He also has formal certification as a Project Management Professional through the Project Management Institute.
