Colibrys and the Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas business region of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT) today announced Avnet will distribute Colibrys full line of motion sensors in North America.

This agreement teams Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas, a recognized industry expert in distribution, with Colibrys to expand Colibrys visibility and coverage in the Americas. North America represents a large market for harsh environment (energy, Military and aerospace) and safety-critical (industrial and instrumentation) motion sensors, and Colibrys has been looking for the right distribution partner to complete its regional presence. Colibrys standard MS7000, MS8000 and recently announced MS9000 and VS9000 products will be available immediately through Avnet Electronics Marketing.
