CertiPath, the identity management and secure information sharing authority, announces the second expansion of its executive team in 2009, naming sales veteran Alison Kidd as vice president of worldwide sales.
As companies in aerospace and defense, financial services and other Security conscious industries expand the supply chain, the imperative for higher assurance and scalable identity management also grows. Kidd brings more than 15 years of sales experience to help CertiPath capitalize on this growing demand for identity certification and assurance solutions.
A veteran of selling innovative and emerging technologies to Fortune 500 companies and government organizations, Kidd will drive adoption of CertiPath’s solutions for online collaboration and secure information-sharing across geographic and organizational boundaries.
“Even while companies are rethinking capital investments in today’s economy, cyber security is one area where they simply can’t afford to cut back,” said Jeff Nigriny, CertiPath president. “Alison’s proven track record in growing companies in emerging markets will ensure that we make the most of this time.”
Kidd joins CertiPath from BMC Software, where she drove sales in the financial, IT, manufacturing, retail and healthcare industries. In a previous role at Cybertrust, Kidd was directly responsible for driving sales and helping the company grow from 21 to 250 million in annual revenue. She was recognized as the sales executive of the year for five consecutive years.
“CertiPath tears down the barriers to trust and changes how organizations do business together,” said Kidd. “I’m excited to join the team and bring a great solution to help customers meet a great challenge.”
