ORANGEBURG, NY – DHS Systems LLC recently announced that its line of Deployable Rapid Assembly Shelter (DRASH) Systems can now accommodate the Satellite Transportable Terminal (STT) and similar communications platforms.
DRASH STT Shelter Systems join STT communications technology and DRASH, a soft-walled, quick-erect shelter system that has been used extensively by all branches of the U.S. Military for more than 20 years, to form a complete integrated shelter system.
Using the DRASH STT Booting System, users can connect the STT to any of the 45 DRASH shelter models offered by the company, including the U.S. Army’s Standard Integrated Command Post Systems (SICPS) TMSS Medium and TMSS Large, which range in size from 109-1,250 square feet.
Once inside the shelter, users are provided with a spacious and effective work area from which they can operate their communications equipment regardless of harsh weather and environmental conditions.
“DRASH STT Shelter Systems allow personnel to form a durable, complete command suite,” says DRASH Fort Bragg Regional Support Facility manager Brad Stobb. “No matter what environment they’re faced with, operators can continue to use their equipment and complete their mission.”
DRASH STT Shelter Systems can also be used with other vehicle communications platforms, including the Standard Integrated Command Post System (SICPS), Integrated Platform Solutions (IPS) Logistics Support, and Air Defense Airspace Management (ADAM) Cell.
