Random Password Manager(tm) Receives U.S. Army Certificate of Networthiness
4 months 4 weeks ago

(LOS ANGELES – October 19, 2009) Lieberman Software Corporation announced that its privileged identity management solution, Random Password Manager, received the Certificate of Networthiness (CoN) from the U.S. Army. The CoN is a requirement for all enterprise software products that operate in the Army Enterprise Infrastructure network.

The Certificate of Networthiness earned by Lieberman Software requires compliance with rigorous standards established by the United States Army and involves in-depth testing against validated guidelines. It verifies that Random Password Manager has met the Army’s highest standards for Security, compatibility, and sustainability. In addition to the U.S. Army, the CoN applies to all Army Reserve, National Guard, and Department of Defense organizations on the Army Enterprise Infrastructure network.

"The Army Certificate of Networthiness is recognized as a benchmark for security validation," said Philip Lieberman, president of Lieberman Software. "Lieberman Software’s receipt of the Army CoN is essential to our Department of Defense clients and private sector customers that are interested in only the most secure software applications. It reinforces the value of Random Password Manager to security-conscious enterprise environments.”

The U.S. Army, as well as other government and private industry organizations, uses Random Password Manager to control privileged account access by updating, storing, and allowing audited recovery of every local account password in the multi-platform enterprise. It helps customers reduce the threat of data breaches, reduce time-intensive manual administration processes for the IT staff, and comply with the privileged account control and auditing requirements of major regulatory compliance mandates.

Along with the recent Certificate of Networthiness, Random Password Manager is Certified for Microsoft Windows and provides FIPS 140-2 Levels 2 and 3 encryption when used with any PKCS#11 hardware provider.
