Let this year's Boards & Solutions Conference provide the answers – Simon Holland, Intel's Senior Technical Director, will deliver the conference keynote on this subject.

Virtually all of the major processor vendors are focusing their efforts on multi-core chips, which may integrate two, four, or even eight processor cores. Nonetheless, most embedded engineers are familiar only with uniprocessor programming and need guidance on how to design and optimize software for multi-core architectures. The content from this year's Boards & Solutions conference is designed to ease the migration path.

The preliminary draft programme for Boards & Solutions is now available online- Register online now for this important event!

The conference itself continues to have a single focus – to create a programme of serious presentations that discuss and debate current technical trends, applications, solutions and know how in embedded computing - hardware and software. The conference audience will be development engineers, engineering management, system integrators and other technical specialists.

Boards & Solutions UK -- Date and Location - May 24th, 2006 at the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre, Reading
