Radstone Appoints New Sales Manager
3 years 11 months ago

Billerica, MA: April 11th 2006: Radstone Embedded Computing today announced the appointment of Mike Spiewakowski to head up the company's European ICS Sensor Processing sales operation. Based at Radstone's headquarters in Towcester, England, Mike will be responsible for maximizing sales and increasing the European market share of ICS's market-leading range of ADC, DAC, Software Defined Radio and data acquisition products.

“Europe is a very important territory for us,” said John Umney, Director of Sales at Radstone, “and the ICS product range is capturing significant interest from Military, commercial and research organizations alike. In order to capitalize on that interest and to take advantage of the numerous opportunities we see, it was vital that we recruited an individual with extensive experience in the industry and knowledge of the market. We believe that Mike is that individual and I'm pleased to be welcoming him to Radstone at what is a very exciting time for the company.”

Mike has returned to the UK after spending several years in the United States, where he held a number of sales management assignments in the defense industry, most recently with Tactical Communications Group headquartered in Billerica, Massachusetts. Prior to that, Mike had completed a five year artificer apprenticeship in the Royal Navy before graduating from the RAF College Cranwell as a Communications/Electronics Engineering Officer. Mike is married with a daughter, and enjoys travel, golf and fly fishing.

“I'm delighted by the opportunity to join an established industry player in Radstone,” said Mike, “especially at a time when the product range is in the best competitive shape it's ever been. I'm looking forward to leading the ICS Sensor Processing team in Europe and working with them to grow our presence and take advantage of the undoubted opportunities that are out there.”
